2021 Da Silva Viognier “Cabana Estate Vineyard” wine and Cabernet Sauvignon from PaintedBig and bold viognier with high alcohol and tremendous texture basically very typical for a South Okanagan Vio in a hot year. The nose offers honeydew, mango, peach, wild flower and ginger tea. The palate is creamy but not oily, which I really appreciate. The palate is tropical and floral showing mostly notes of pineapple, mango, white peach and also chamomile and ginger. Add just a tad of bitterness on the finish among the multiple layers of spices
