This is an ignition key with a square key head

The VATS ignition key was used for select Cadillac models from 1989 to 2003  (see the chart for specific applications)

you will need to transplant the VATS chip from another (silver) working key into the blank Gold VATS key

you might ask for help from a friend or from the Parts Department at your local Cadillac dealer
