The case features enamel panels on the front columns, top, base, and carry handle brackets with polychrome floral and foliate motifs. The white porcelain dial has Roman numeral hour markers with a subsidiary alarm dial below. The movement is an eight day repeater with an alarm function and a bell strike mechanism visible through the rear door. Five beveled glass
