This is the second entry in my card-by-card evaluation of Modern Horizons 3, encompassing Black, Red, and Green cards from the set

I've always been a big fan of minigame cards, where you have a smaller game within your Magic game

The token doesn't copy whether Living Laser is tapped or untapped, whether he has any counters on him or Auras or Equipment attached to him, or any non-copy effects that have changed his power, toughness, types, color, and so on

I picture this card in decks with a lot of mana resources anyway and the care about casting from exile, so I think this card has a practical use better than the prior card
